HBN: Gift Wrap provides merchant-configured gift wrapping, packaging choices, and gift message collection for Shopify stores.

Information we process

We process store identity, installation, authentication, and account information needed to operate the app. We store merchant configuration such as wrapping labels, per-option prices, catalog source and service variant identifiers, product targeting, schedules, images, and packaging inventory.

The app may read product identifiers, titles, tags, collections, variants, and availability when a merchant configures option targeting or connects packaging to the Shopify catalog. Storefront components process cart line identifiers, quantities, the shopper’s selected wrapping option, and a shopper-entered gift message so those choices can be attached to the cart and order. We do not request Shopify customer or order read scopes, and we do not use customer profiles, addresses, payment credentials, or order histories for this service.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate stores, enforce plan access, publish storefront configuration, provide wrapping choices, preserve selections in orders, troubleshoot failures, secure the service, and respond to merchant support requests.

Service providers and sharing

Information is processed by service-provider categories needed for platform operation, data storage, service reliability, security, and merchant support. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only while needed to provide, protect, and support the service or meet legal and platform obligations. Shopify compliance requests and app uninstallation trigger the applicable access revocation, deletion, or de-identification workflows. Backup and security records are removed according to operational retention cycles.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, encrypted transport, secret management, least-privilege permissions, and monitoring appropriate to the service. Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Merchants control app configuration and can uninstall the app. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact our support center. Shopper requests relating to a store should first be directed to that merchant.

Children and updates

The service is intended for merchants and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when functionality or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
